HEALTHY TIP: RED ONIONS

Every time you cry when you are cutting onions did you know that you are releasing toxins?? I know, incredible. They are effective in preventing microbial, bronchial and bacterial infections. Additionally, the flavanoids in onions have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-histamine properties that can prevent the growth of stomach and colon cancers. Put a piece of onion over burnt skin and it will help with the pain. Red Onions also reduce the bad cholesterol (LDL) by 20% in our body, if you eat it regularly. I usually put them on guacamole and salads.. I really love that they are not super strong!! Cada ves que lloras cuando cortas cebolla sabes que estas sacando toxinas??? Ya se que increíble. Son muy buenas para prevenir y tratar  las infecciones respiratorias. Tienen propiedades anti-infamatorias, anti-oxidantes, que pueden prevenir el cáncer de colon. Ponte un pedazo de cebolla encima de una quemadura y te va a ayudar con el dolor. También si las comes regularmente bajan el colesterol malo por 20% en nuestro cuerpo. A mi me encantan en guacamole y en las ensaladas. El sabor no es tan fuerte!!!
